Johannesburg Executive Mayor Dada Morero says there are signs of improved service delivery under his leadership, despite rising political pressure against him.
Morero is facing a motion of no confidence in the City Council brought by minority party Al Jama-ah, with the support of other minority parties.
The parties have since written to ANC structures, urging Morero to step aside over ongoing service delivery failures.
