More witnesses have come forward to help the Madlanga commission in its investigation into alleged criminality, political interference and corruption in the criminal justice system.
The commission revealed this late on Wednesday 17 December after submitting its interim report to President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Madlanga commission: More witnesses, 45 submissionsThe commission said it was encouraged by emergence of more witnesses. This is despite the murder of Witness D, identified as Marius van der Merwe, on 5 December. He was laid to rest on Wednesday.
