Defence lawyer in the Senzo Meyiwa murder case, Charles Mnisi, says he will make an application to recall two witnesses, including Constable Sizwe Zungu - a key state witness in the trial.
Five men are on trial in the North Gauteng High Court for the 2014 murder of Meyiwa in Vosloorus on Gautengs East Rand.
Mnisi is expected to address the court on the matter when the trial resumes on Monday.
On behalf of accused No.: 1, we are going to request for the following witnesses to be recalled Constable Zungu and Buthelezi. We still need to decide on whether or not there would still be other witnesses. We would make a request that they be recalled. However, the court would be informed about those. But for now we are certain about Constable Zungu and Mr Buthelezi, says Mnisi.
