The uMkhonto weSizwe Party MKP expressed their concern over the safety of members serving on the Ad Hoc Committee after MP Vusi Shongwe was hijacked, kidnapped, robbed and threatened on Wednesday night.
MKP national spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndlela, confirmed that the incident took place at 10pm.
Shongwe's captures released him a few hours later. They allegedly took three of his cellphones and a substantial amount of money.
