The uMkhonto weSizwe MK Party says talks with other political parties are in progress to get enough votes to back its motion of no confidence against KwaZulu-Natal Premier Thami Ntuli.
The vote on the motion is scheduled to take place on Monday next week in the provincial legislature in Pietermaritzburg.
The MKP has 37 seats. It needs at least 41 votes in the 80-seat legislature for the vote to succeed.
