The MK Party Caucus in the National Assembly says it is heavily divided, as some MPs have written to the party president calling for the removal of Chief Whip Colleen Makhubele.
They say she makes unilateral and undemocratic decisions, also referring to the stance she took on Isreal.
The December 16 faction within the party and parliament has accused Makhubele of taking unilateral decisions and dividing the caucus.
In a letter, some MPs further accuse Makhubele of causing the caucus to descend into a state of dysfunction.
They are demanding her removal after she and caucus leader Dr John Hlophe, removed Nhlamulo Ndhlela from the whippery of the party.
