A search that stretched across two provinces and spanned more than a week ended with relief on Sunday morning when 28-year-old Tristan Ehrenreich was found alive in dense bushes near Kareedouw, Eastern Cape.
His discovery came eight days after his vehicle was located overturned along the R102, a scene that left his family fearing the worst but refusing to give up hope.
According to the Cape Argus , emergency teams found Ehrenreich at around 7:30am, only a few kilometres from the wrecked vehicle that had triggered the large-scale search effort.
