President Cyril Ramaphosa says mining companies should follow the example of Ivanplats Mine in empowering communities and participating in service delivery. Ramaphosa said this during the opening of Ivanplats new mine in Mokopane, Limpopo.
Ivanplats is one of the worlds largest producers of platinum, nickel and copper.
Ramaphosa says Ivanplats is the first mine to open with the full involvement of community.
