International transfer fees in men's football rose to a record 13.08 billion in 2025, according to the Federation Internationale de Football Associations FIFA annual Global Transfer Market report released on Wednesday.
FIFA reported that a record 86,158 international transfers were completed across the men's game during the year, marking the highest figure ever recorded.
The governing body also noted significant growth in the women's game, with 2,440 international transfers completed in 2025, an increase of 6.3 percent, while total spending surged by more than 80 percent year-on-year to 28.6 million.
