KwaZulu-Natal Education MEC Sipho Hlomuka has acknowledged challenges in the delivery of stationery to some schools ahead of the reopening of schools on Wednesday.
Hlomuka says many of the provinces top performing schools are in rural areas and remain under-resourced.
He adds that no district in the province recorded a pass rate below 85 percent and no school achieved a 0 pass rate.
