Measles cases are rising across the Western Cape, prompting calls for parents and caregivers to ensure children are vaccinated as the festive season is in full swing, reports Cape town Etc .
The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness has confirmed a steady increase in measles cases reported in several parts of the province.
Affected areas include: Khayelitsha, Mfuleni, Eerste River, Somerset West, Mitchells Plain and Citrusdal, among others, according to the department.
