South Africans are once again being invited to put their best foot forward for a cause that carries both heart and impact, as Flip Flop Day 2026 returns on Friday, 20 February, reports Cape townEtc .
Led by CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa, the annual campaign blends awareness with action, calling on individuals, schools and workplaces to wear flip flops in solidarity with children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer.
At its core, the campaign asks for a simple commitment: purchase a R10 Flip Flop Day sticker, slip on a pair of flip flops and stand alongside families navigating the childhood cancer journey.
