Police Minister Senzo Mchunu has testified that the budget for the National Political Killings Task Team NPKTT beyond 2022 was irregular under the Public Finance Management Act PFMA.
Mchunu testified that there was no extension of the PKTT beyond that year as per the regulations.
He is in the hot seat defending his decision to disband the PKTT in December 2024.
