Police Minister Senzo Mchunus Chief of Staff Cedric Nkabinde says Mchunu felt the Independent Police Investigative Directorate IPID was targeting him instead of focusing on the murder of his security detail Xolani Nkosi.
Nkabinde is currently testifying before Parliaments Ad Hoc committee, which is established to look into KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazis allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the justice system.
Mkhwanazi testified that Nkabinde had links with a businessman Brown Mogotsi.
