Former President Thabo Mbeki through his legal representative, Advocate Ngwako Maenetje has told the Constitutional Court that he is not avoiding accountability.
The Constitutional Court is hearing an urgent application by Mbeki and former president Jacob Zuma.
The application is for direct access and leave to appeal a High Court judgment that dismissed a bid to remove Justice Sisi Khampep e as chairperson of the TRC Cases Inquiry.
