Kylian Mbappe has officially withdrawn his complaint of moral harassment against his former club, Paris Saint-Germain, according to his lawyer Pierre-Olivier Sur.
"We are withdrawing our civil action," Sur told AFP on Monday, just days before Mbappes current club, Real Madrid, face PSG in the Club World Cup semi-final.
Last month, the Paris prosecutor's office confirmed an investigation had been launched after Mbappe alleged he was mistreated by PSG at the beginning of the 2023-24 season. He claimed the club sidelined him and made him train with players marked for departure after he declined to renew his contract.
This practice, reportedly affecting other players as well, led the French players' union to file a similar complaint in 2023.
Mbappe, now 26, was left out of PSG' s pre-season tour of Asia and missed the season opener. However, he was later reinstated following discussions with club officials.
