The Active and Citizens Forum ACF has described as a waste of time the appearance of businessman and alleged criminal cartel kingpin Vusimuzi Cat Matlala before the Ad Hoc Committee looking into concerns around national security .
Matlala spent two days this week testifying before the committee investigating allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the justice system .
The ACF accused Matlala, whom it says is one key witnesses behind these allegations, of misdirecting the interaction with Parliamentarians with the aim to protect people who are behind his lavish life style.
