The pre-trial hearing of controversial businessman Vusimuzi Cat Matlala, together with his four co-accused, is expected to commence on Thursday morning at the High Court in Johannesburg.
Matlala is facing 11 counts of attempted murder along with a string of other charges.
The charges relate to the failed assassination attempts on his former girlfriend, Tebogo Thobejane, businessman Joe Sibanyoni and music producer Seunkie Mokubong, commonly known as DJ Vetteys.
