Brigadier Rachel Matjeng , the South African Police Services Section Head of Quality Management has told the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry that she asked Vusimuzi Cat Matlala to buy her ozempic through his MedicCare24 company.
Ozempic is a prescription medication used primarily to manage type 2 diabetes and reduce cardiovascular and kidney risks. Ozempic is also used for weightloss although it is not approved for this use.
Matjeng yesterday told the commission that she was in an on and off relationship with Matlala since 2017 and would often receive gifts from him.
