Manchester United has finalised the acquisition of RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko in a deal valued at 73.7 million. The five-year agreement consists of a guaranteed payment of 66.3 million, with the remainder contingent upon additional performance-based payments.
The Slovenia international is Uniteds third major signing in the attacking department, following Matheus Cunhas arrival for 62.5 million and Bryan Mbeumos signing for 65 million, including 6 million in add-ons.
The history of Manchester United is obviously very special but what really excites me is the future, said Sesko.
From the moment that I arrived, I could feel the positive energy and family environment that the club has created. It is the perfect place to reach my maximum level and fulfil all of my ambitions.
I cannot wait to start learning from Ruben and connecting with my team-mates to achieve the success that we all know we are capable of together. He added.
