Manchester United have submitted a bid for RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko, with the total deal potentially reaching 85 million euros 73.8 million. The bid includes a confirmed payment of 75 million euros 65.2 million.
United is awaiting a response but believes this valuation is suitable for the 22-year-old Slovenia international and understands that the player is eager to finalise a transfer to Old Trafford .
Newcastle is also interested in Sesko and has put forward an offer for the striker, which has yet to be accepted.
Manchester United reportedly launched their bid after they clarified with Leipzig that their striker was willing to join them. United is prepared to allow Rasmus Hojlund to leave the club to create an opportunity for Seskos arrival.
Sesko has scored 39 goals in 87 matches for RB Leipzig, and at 6ft 5in, he would add a significant physical dimension to Manchester Uniteds attacking lineup.
