The Universal Service Fund USF, through the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority MACRA, has invited eligible contractors to bid for the completion of ICT laboratories under Phase I of the Connect a School CAS Project, a key initiative aimed at expanding digital access and strengthening information and communication technology infrastructure in schools across Malawi.
The project forms part of the countrys broader efforts to bridge the digital divide by improving access to digital learning facilities and equipping schools with the infrastructure needed to support technology-driven education. The initiative is also intended to foster innovation and create an enabling environment for digital skills development among learners.
According to the invitation for bids, interested and qualified contractors are encouraged to obtain the bidding documents and submit their proposals before the deadline of 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
