Some private scholar transport operators in Mahikeng in the North West have suspended operations.
The operators who use seven-seater vehicles say the provincial Transport Department is confiscating their vehicles due to a lack of relevant permits .
They are calling on the department to instead assist them to obtain the Professional Driving Permits.
