The uMkhonto weSizwe Part y MK Party says the Madlanga Commission into alleged police corruption is a waste of taxpayers money.

The commission is due to start its public hearings on Wednesday, while the MK Party is set to challenge the legality of the commission before the High Court in Pretoria on Thursday.

The party claims the commission will compromise states security.
