MaBlerh returns as Season 5 reunion host of the popular Showmax reality series The Real Housewives of Durban RHOD - and he has promised viewers that everything will be addressed.

RHODs Season 5 finale has trended since it dropped on 13 June 2025. Cast members had their final dinner during their trip in Mauritius after an eventful and dramatic season.

In an emotionally charged evening, the ladies addressed some of their unresolved tensions that ranged from old wounds to fresh betrayals.

The dinner took a major turn when Nonku Williams received an anonymous letter that prompted her to leave the table, leaving viewers with plenty of unanswered questions.

Fans remain in the dark about the letters contents, who wrote it and what their intentions were. The subsequent fallout and tensions have set the stage for a reunion that promises to deliver serious confrontation and, hopefully, some closure.

Viewers can stream the reunion on Showmax in two parts, on 4 July and 11 July 2025. The trailer for part 1 is available to watch on YouTube here .

MaBlerh to host The Real Housewives of Durban S5 reunion

MaBlerh is hosting the reunion for the third time in a row. He is the first African to host multiple reunions in The Real Housewives franchise, including The Real Housewives of Gqeberha S1 and The Real Housewives of Johannesburg S3 .

"The show has a lot of loyal viewers, and I intend to step in and represent all of their views. They have burning questions that need answers," he said in an interview with Showmax.

"Being back for the third time is an honour I don't take lightly. It's a big job that requires sensitivity, because these ladies are opening up and sharing their lives with us, so some of the topics are deeply personal."

As usual, MaBlerh will bring his cool composure and ability to ask the tough questions while keeping the tone respectful. However, he promises that he won't be holding back.
