Mamelodi Sundowns says it is committed to negotiations with clubs that have expressed interest in its players. This follows news that forward Lucas Ribeiro Costa has terminated his contract with the Premier Soccer League PSL champions.
In a statement on Thursday 21 August, Ribeiro revealed that Masandawana had not accepted a good offer from Qatar SC .
"The deal became impossible due to their unreasonable expectations. They inflated the transfer price in a way that disregarded my career and personal situation, he claimed.
