KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi is expected to hold a media briefing in Durban on Thursday afternoon.
Its believed he will address issues being raised at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry. They pertain to Durban businessman James Stuart Scharnick s criminal record and firearm license.
On Wednesday, Scharnick laid fraud and defamation charges against the head of Crime Intelligence Dumisani Khumalo, at the Pretoria Central Police Station.
