Liverpool's season has taken a frustrating turn in recent weeks, and last weekend's 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth summed up their problems, softfootball reported.
After falling two goals behind, the Reds fought back, only to concede a late winner in injury time. It was the third time this season Liverpool have conceded a 90th-minute winner in the Premier League, more than in any previous campaign.
That defeat ended Liverpool's 13-game unbeaten run and extended their winless league streak to five matches, dropping them to sixth place. They are now facing the possibility of going six league games without a win to start a calendar year for the first time since 1954.
