Limpopos Health department has expressed concern on the number of teenage mothers. Of the 80 women who have given birth to Christmas babies, 13 are teenagers.
The province has welcomed 53 boys and 35 girls on Christmas.
Department Spokesperson Percy Moagi says the MEC has described teenage pregnancy as a serious social challenge.
