Mpumalanga Police have confirmed that one body of the two South African National Defence Force SANDF members , whose vehicle was swept away in the flooding of the Nkomazi river in Komatipoort, has been recovered.
It is alleged the members were trying to cross the river from Komatipoort to the Lebombo Border Post on the lower bridge. It was during the execution of Operation Corona.
Mpumalanga Police spokesperson Donald Mdluli says the search of the other member is continuing.
