Farmers say the return of heavy rains in some parts of Limpopo is threatening crops as some rivers and dams have burst their banks . The management of Mabunda Farmers Cooperative outside Tzaneen says the rain is negatively affecting their operations.
Spokesperson for the Cooperative, Bennet Malungani says they have to hire a heavy-duty generator to sustain production after their transformer and operational plant became submerged .
The farm, that employs 400 workers, grows citrus for export.
