Libyan Telecom Holding Signs Mou With Kbr To Advance 5g And Infrastructure

The Chairman of the Board, Eng. Ali Bin Ghrabia, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU with representatives of U.S.-based engineering company KBR , marking a key step toward strengthening Libya's telecommunications and digital infrastructure. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Board Advisor and several directors and department heads from the company.

KBR is a globally recognized firm specializing in engineering consultancy, technological solutions, and infrastructure development. The company brings extensive expertise in delivering major strategic projects, particularly in telecommunications infrastructure, data centers, and cybersecurity.

During the meeting, both parties explored opportunities for cooperation, partnership, and joint investment aimed at modernizing Libya's infrastructure and enhancing fifth-generation 5G network capabilities. They agreed to maintain coordination through follow-up meetings to finalize technical and implementation aspects and establish practical frameworks to activate the partnership. The collaboration is expected to contribute to improving the overall quality of telecommunications services in Libya.
