Liberia Rolls Out National Teacher Edtech Training Through Respect Programme

Education initiative RESPECT has launched its first virtual RESPECT EdTech Teacher Training programme in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Liberia, marking a step forward in strengthening teacher capacity and integrating technology into classrooms nationwide.

The programme underscores a shared commitment to empowering teachers, improving learning outcomes, and promoting the responsible and effective use of education technology. Education leaders and teachers from all 15 counties of Liberia participated in the virtual launch, reflecting broad national engagement in teacher professional development.

RESPECT expressed appreciation to Liberia's Minister of Education, Dr. Jarso M., for her leadership in advancing teacher development and innovation. Acknowledgment was also extended to Assistant Minister Nathaniel K. Cisco, Jr., Minister Amos A. Fully, Director Sangay Faeflen, and Director Julia K. Sandiman Gbeyai for their support and coordination.
