The Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi says they hope to draw lessons from the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry to ensure that there is no political interference in the newly planned political killings task team.
On Wednesday, Lesufi announced plans to establish this task team, which will investigate politically motivated murders in the province dating back to 2010.
He says the decision followed an observation that there is a coordinated syndicate that is targeting government officials in Gauteng.
