KwaZulu-Natal KZN police have confirmed the arrest of a Howick man facing sexual assault charges involving 13-year-old twin sisters.
He allegedly began abusing the girls when they were just six years-old and he was sharing a home with the victims and their grandmother.
The suspect was due to appear in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrates Court last Friday but the state told the court that he was assaulted.
The case was remanded to the 29th of May.
