The Kruger National Park is counting the cost after devastating floods caused widespread damage across parts of Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
The floods have claimed nearly 40 lives and left billions of rands in damage, prompting urgent calls for both national and international assistance.
In response, the Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, Willie Aucamp has announced the establishment of the Kruger Recovery Fund aimed at restoring critical infrastructure and protecting wildlife.
