Orlando Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza has issued a statement following his sides success this season.
Pirates won a domestic treble - the MTN8, the Carling Black Label Knockout and the Betway Premiership, which they sealed on Saturday with a 2-0 win at ORBIT College.
Pirates first Premiership since 2012It was Pirates first Premiership title since they won the league under Ruud Krol in the 2011/12 campaign. Khoza seems to take issue with the idea of a 14-year drought, instead highlighting the consistency of the team and the multitude of trophies they have won over recent years.
