Madlanga Commission evidence leader Advocate Adila Hassim has told the Commission that WhatsApp messages between suspended deputy head of Crime Intelligence Major General Feroz Khan and businessman Mohammed Mo Sayed point to a relationship involving financial benefit.
Hassim is reading evidence gathered against Khan into the record at the Commission.
The evidence indicates that Sayed sought Khans assistance in securing a South African Police Service security tender.
