The state, in the case against alleged underworld crime boss Jerome Booysen and 11 others, has called a witness who deals with the applications of intercepted calls.
A trial-within-a-trial to determine the admissibility of transcripts of intercepted phone calls between Booysen, his former co-accused and now deceased Mark Lifman, Andre Naude , and others is underway in the Western Cape High Court.
