justice delayed two months on no charges in sea point supercar crash

More than two months have passed since the dramatic crash of a R3 million McLaren supercar driven by popular Nigerian rapper Prince Daniel Obioma, known as 3GAR , left Sea Point in shock.

Yet, in a troubling development for justice in South Africa, no charges have been filed against the rapper, raising questions about the efficiency of the South African Police Service SAPS in handling high-profile cases, Cape town Etc reports.

On the fateful day in early March, 3GAR was reportedly speeding recklessly along High Level Road when his luxury vehicle crashed into a wall.

The rapper was hospitalised following the incident but has since returned to the public eye, promoting his other vehicle, an SUV, as he reinvents himself online.

The frustrations of the public and officials alike were poignantly expressed by Nicholas Gotsell, a member of the DAs Select Committee for Security and Justice.
