Cape Town's vibrant Sea Point area was rocked by tragedy this morning as a man in his 40s was found dead following a shooting incident near the popular promenade, Cape town Etc reports.
The alarming discovery was made at around 7am at the intersection of Beach Road and Norfolk Road, a spot frequented by locals and tourists alike.
According to police spokesperson Captain F.C Van Wyk, the body of a male, believed to be in his 40s, was discovered on the grass area of the promenade, suffering from a gunshot wound.
