South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has commenced talks with European leaders centred on the urgent need for peace in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Cape town Etc reports.
Following a series of significant meetings hosted by US President Donald Trump which included key discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ramaphosa took the opportunity to engage in dialogue that may help shape the future of the war-torn region.
In a statement released by the Presidency, it was revealed that these discussions transpired over telephone calls this past Saturday.
