Softfootball reports that Paris Saint-Germain have suffered an injury blow as 20-year-old midfielder Desire Doue was stretchered off during their 1-1 draw with FC Lorient today, after suffering what appears to be a right-thigh muscle injury. He was withdrawn around the 61st minute, visibly unable to put weight on his leg.
Sports expert Fabrizio Romano, via his official X account , made the news official when he posted the latest update regarding the situation.
Although Fabrizios statement is cautious and does not indicate a return date, he hinted that the injury is 'serious" and may require several weeks of recovery pending PSGs official assessment. It's especially frustrating given that Doue had already missed time earlier this season due to a calf issue he suffered while on international break.
