An industrial hemp plantation has been launched at Duvhuledza outside Thohoyandou, in Limpopo. The hemp will be cultivated on a 30-hectare farm.
The project is aimed at helping the small community eradicate unemployment.
Industrial hemp is used in the production of textiles , biofuel, and fibre.
