While India chased down a paltry 118-run target with seven wickets and 25 balls to spare, Shubman and Suryakumar made 28 28 and 12 11, respectively.
The upcoming T20 World Cup is just two months away, and India have just seven T20Is remaining before the marquee event gets underway. The Indian captain and vice-captain struggling for runs is a worrying sign for the defending champions.
However, Abhishek Sharma believes that both batters will regain their form and win games for India in the lead-up to the World Cup as well as in the 20-team extravaganza.
