Former Democratic Republic of the Congo international Nathan Idumba has joined Al Ahly SSC of the Libyan Premier League from South Africas Chippa United.
Idumba first arrived in South Africa in December 2024, signing for Cape Town City from Norwegian outfit Vlerenga. He jumped ship from the Citizens at the end of the 2024/25 season as the club was relegated from the Betway Premiership, joining Chippa United to stay in the top flight.
The Chilli Boys have struggled greatly in the league and sit one point off the bottom of the table. The Eastern Cape outfit have managed only two wins to go alongside six draws and eight losses.
