Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN, Kingsley Moghalu, has refuted claims identifying him as the Labour Party LP flag bearer in the November 8, 2025, Anambra State governorship election.
In a statement shared on his X account on Tuesday, Moghalu expressed disappointment over several media reports that misrepresented him as the LP candidate and, in some instances, featured his image alongside the stories.
Describing the publications as "false," he explained that the reports had confused him with George Moghalu, who was the Labour Party candidate in the election.
