Police Minister Senzo Mchunus wish to be relieved of his National Executive Committee NEC and National Working Committee NWC duties in the African National Congress ANC, has been granted by his party.
This comes after the party earlier rejected his request to step aside from his organisational duties.
The party pointed out that the ANCs step aside rule applies to members who are charged by a court of law.
