The National Consumer Commission NCC has issued a recall of certain vehicles manufactured by Ford Motor Company, citing a potential safety defect linked to the battery system.
The recall affects 582 units of the Ford Transit and Ford Tourneo Custom, manufactured between 2022 and 2026 and sold in South Africa from 2021. These models are widely used for both commercial transport and passenger mobility, raising concern among businesses and consumers who rely on them daily.
