Huawei South Africa has officially opened applications for the 2025 Women in Tech Digital Skills Training Programme. The three-day event, running from August 27-29 in Johannesburg, is now in its fourth year and is specifically designed for women professionals and entrepreneurs seeking to leverage technology for business growth and leadership.
TechHERpreneur: Innovation Meets AmbitionThis year's program is centered around the theme, TechHERpreneur: Where Innovation Meets Ambition. It aims to equip women with the essential tools and insights needed to thrive in a digital-first world where technologies like artificial intelligence and 5G are reshaping industries. The fully funded program is completely free to apply for and attend.
Participants will spend the first two days at the Huawei Johannesburg campus, engaging in hands-on sessions led by Huawei experts. These sessions will focus on applying emerging technologies to real-world business challenges. The final day, hosted at Henley Business School Africa, will concentrate on personal leadership, business resilience, and strategic adaptability, with participants receiving a Henley certificate upon completion.
A new addition to the program this year is a practical tech demo and masterclass led by Stuff, South Africas leading consumer tech publication. This session will showcase accessible technology solutions for small businesses, from productivity tools to digital visibility platforms.
